Rain and Paint
How do you calm down on rainy days?
Think of the rain, the droplets of water that run down the windows, the walls, the streets.
When it rains bad weather can affect our day, we feel more tired, more listless and annoyed.
To regain energy in these moments, it may be useful to focus on how to counter a grey day.
How to do it? Adding colour.
Raindrops remind me of the drops of colour I use in creating my canvases. The shape is the same, the applications endless.
A rainy day is not sad for me, it is useful for stimulating my creativity.
Just as the raindrops land on cities, streets, buildings, the colours of my canvases recreate them in my way, colouring these grey days with my imagination.
My paintings do not stop to recreate common landscapes, but also take me on a journey to places where raindrops are scarce, but those of colour illuminate lesser-known landscapes.
These days it also helps me a lot to leave room for my creativity, to let the colour settle on the canvas following my creative craving guided by inspiration.
Painting helps me to colour even the greyest moments, to find the positive side of each new day, or to create it myself!
And you? How do you calm down on rainy days?
